Jacob Stevens is the son of Bill and Julie Stevens. He has been playing basketball since the third grade, and is a two-year varsity letterman. He is also a two-year varsity letterman in tennis, where he earned HCC All-Conference, and Academic All-State Honorable Mention. Jacob is also a Student Ambassador for Brownsburg High School. After graduation, he plans to attend college, and major in Engineering.There have been many great memories from playing basketball at Brownsburg High School, but, by far, the best one was last year's state championship. He would like to encourage those kids just entering the basketball program in Brownsburg to keep up their grades and practice hard.
Jacob would like to thank his Indy Hoops coaches, especially Mike Western, and the late Jerry Hinds, who gave so much of his time and heart to the program. He will always be remembered. Also, thanks to Coach Kendrick and the rest of the basketball staff, his teammates, his fellow seniors, J.D. and Austin, the fans, the pep band, and the team parents for all the meals. Finally, he would like to thank his sister, Victoria, and his parents for all their love and support, and for always being there to cheer him on.
