Great bench play and key free-throws lifted the Dogs to a team victory this past Friday. Although the Dogs took a 21-18 lead at the half, it was their 30 point fourth quarter that gave the Bulldogs the victory over HCC opponent Noblesville. While Austin Fish was being hounded by the Miller defense, J.D. Cosby and Torrey Nibbs combined for 23 out of 30 fourth qua

rter points including going a combined 14-15 from the free throw line. Timely baskets also came from Jacob Stevens, Jacob Eldridge, and Fish to secure the win for the Dogs. Brownsburg needed a strong finish after trailing 24-25 heading into the final stanza. The Bulldogs only scored three points in the third quarter. Thankfully Eldridge connected on a pull up and Cosby hit a free-throw for the three point total. Jacob Eldridge again lifted the Bulldog offense by

scoring six of the Dogs' seven points off the bench. Out of the gates the Bulldog defense held the Millers to only five points while tallying up 13 of their own behind Torrey Nibbs who scored eight of his 18 points. J.D. Cosby led all scorers with a career high 21 points. Nibbs added 18. Eldridge dropped in six points all coming in the second half. Fish connected for four points. Stevens added a bucket to go with his team high six rebounds. Runyon connected on a post move and pulled down three boards. And Alan Paddock knocked down a free throw for the final score 54-47. Thank you Mr. McKeon, the sports marketing class, and the Dog Pound for your support! We hope to see you at Westfield High School this Friday!
