#9 team in the Nation too much for Dogs
The boys’ basketball team came out battling last night vs. the #1 team in the state Bloomington South, who is also ranked #9 in the country. J.D. Cosby scored seven of the Bulldogs 15 first quarter points to give the Dogs a 15-14 lead. In addition, Cosby, Jacob Eldridge and the rest of the Dogs held Mr. Basketball candidate Jordan Hulls to a mere 12 points. However, a balanced attack from the Panthers was too much for the Dogs. Bloomington South put three players in double figures and three more scored nine points. Torrey Nibbs drove his way to a game high 17 points. Kurtis Runyon had 7 points. Roach and Fish both scored six points. Stevens knocked down a trey and Eldridge connected on two freebies. The Bulldogs are now 11-6, with Senior Night vs. Lafayette Jeff this coming Friday. Come out and pay tribute to Austin Fish, J.D. Cosby, and Jacob Stevens for their dedication to Brownsburg Basketball.
