Notes from April McDivit Foster's speech to our Brownsburg FCA

Basketball was her God

God wants a relationship with us - gave my life to God.

I'm a daughter of a king, a sinner saved by grace.

That is who I am.

Who was the greatest player in the NBA five years ago? No one knows. Point.

Use your talents for God's glory.

balcony people and basement people.

Balcony people - high energy. Basement people - complainers

Tamika Catchings - balcony - you can worship God with your intensity on the court. She had a tough road to go. Humble - it only takes one person to make a difference.

Worship God through your daily performance.

God smiles down when you use those talents he has given you when you use them well.

Nail it and press on.

We are called to greatness; it is up to you to answer the call. Romans 10:9.
